Walking
The cottage provides a great base for walking in Argyll. Whether it be the short walk to the “point” for view across Loch Fyne to the Cowal peninsula, local walks in Ardcastle and Knapdale Forest or to Munro bagging, there is something for everyone. Let Scotland’s breathtaking landscape and overwhelming spirit of place refresh and enliven your senses.

Cycling
Cycling in Scotland is a healthy celebration of wide open spaces, dramatic scenery and clean fresh air. Again the area provides great cycling from easy routes such as the flat but picturesque Crinan Canal to mountain biking in the forests.

Fishing
The cottage is literally shoreside so fishing for tiddlers and crabbing is inevitable. Bigger fish are available from the “point” and fishing trips can be organised through the websites below but watch out for the dolphins, seals, basking sharks and even nuclear submarines which occupy Loch Fyne.
